Matthew Menard

Matt Menard BSc CPO (c) received a BSc in Biology from the U of C in 2008 and graduated from BCIT clinical program in 2014. In 2020, Matt had a very unique opportunity when the headshape clinic at Alberta Children’s Hospital closed down due to COVID. There was an extremely high community demand for an orthotist who could fill the void created, so Matt did the necessary courses and then spent a year training under Judy Mair – a leader of the Alberta Children’s Hospital headshape clinic for 20+ years. He is now considered a leading expert in Calgary for infant cranial remolding. Matt is also very experienced with microprocessor knees, having completed courses for ottobock X3, Genium, C-Leg 4, Kenevo, Ossur Rheo knee, and Freedom Quattro. In his spare time, he builds furniture and spends time with his young children.
