Custom Stabilizing Knee Brace

A custom stabilizing knee brace is often used to support athletes returning to sport after a significant knee injury, such as an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear, ligament reconstruction, or chronic instability. These braces are custom made to the athlete’s anatomy, providing optimal alignment, compression, and joint stabilization without compromising mobility. Designed to limit excessive or harmful knee movements—such as twisting, hyperextension, or lateral shifting—the brace helps protect healing structures and reduce the risk of re-injury during high-demand activities. Custom stabilizing knee braces are lightweight, durable, and typically made with carbon fiber or high-strength composite materials. They are especially valuable during the transition phase from rehabilitation to unrestricted play.

Shoulder Stabilizing

A shoulder stabilizing orthosis is commonly used in athletes following shoulder injuries such as dislocations, subluxations, labral tears, or rotator cuff injuries to provide joint support and prevent re-injury during the return to sport. These orthoses are designed to limit specific shoulder movementsthat are often associated with instability or recurrent dislocation. By restricting these high-risk motions while allowing functional movement, the orthosis helps protect healing tissues and maintain proper joint alignment. Shoulder stabilizing orthoses are often used in contact or overhead sports where the risk of reinjury is high, and they are typically worn during practices and games. These braces are a valuable part of the recovery process, supporting a safe and effective transition back to sport.

Ankle Brace

Ankle braces are external supports worn around the ankle to limit excessive movement, especially rolling the ankle which is a common mechanism of sprain. They come in various designs, from soft lace-up models to rigid stirrups. Ankle braces serve multiple important roles in sports. They are commonly used for injury prevention, particularly by athletes involved in sports that require cutting, jumping, and rapid direction changes—such as basketball, volleyball, and soccer—as these movements increase the risk of ankle sprains, especially in individuals with a history of previous injury. In cases of a prior sprain, braces provide post-injury support by stabilizing the joint during the recovery process and facilitating a safer, more gradual return to activity, often as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation plan.

Wrist Brace

Wrist braces are commonly used after sports-related injuries to support healing, reduce pain, and prevent further damage. They are especially beneficial for athletes who rely heavily on wrist function, such as those in gymnastics, tennis, weightlifting, basketball, and combat sports. By limiting wrist movement—particularly extension, flexion, and rotation—braces help injured tissues like ligaments, tendons, and bones rest and recover. This is particularly important in conditions such as wrist sprains, tendinitis (including De Quervain’s), TFCC tears, post-fracture recovery, and carpal tunnel syndrome. In addition to providing stability, wrist braces help control swelling and ease discomfort through gentle compression, especially during the early stages of recovery.
